Sergio’s is an authentic, Italian experience at the river bank of vibrant Aurajoki.
Most of our ingredients are imported from Italy, to ensure food quality and authentic flavours, as well as fresh ingredients that we acquire at the marketplace and local shops in Turku.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful wooden house, of historic and architectural interest, built in 1787.

Erittäin hyvä italialainen ravintola Aurajoen varressa. Alkuun sisilialainen kala - äyriäiskeitto sekä Vitello tonnatto, pääruokana lasagne ja lime-risotto. Annokset erittäin maistuvat. Tarjoilijoilla piti kiirettä, koska tupa oli täynnä, mutta palvelu oli ystävällistä. Kaikenkaikkiaan miellyttävä kokemus tälläkin kertaa.
We went out for a meal with my family while on holiday. Can highly recommend! Food and Service were excellent. We've been to Italy before and must say this was one of the best and authentic experiences for italian food whilst outside of Italy.Thanks for the great Service to Franco and his Team! Great food, especially the appetizers. Ordered the 3 course meal. The pumpkin soup is a must! It was cold the day I went so I sat inside. Very pleasant, perfect service.
Italian In Turku for a few weeks for business.Beautiful experience @ Sergio's. Beef tartare was absolutely delicious. Fritto misto excellent. The dessert trio also gorgeous. Together with a lovely bottle of Carignano made an evening away from home feel so close to home! 5 Star quality food and service. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!
Huikea palvelukokemus! Blondi baarimikko oli todella ystävällinen ja ammattitaitoinen. Hyvä ja rento tunnelma. Palvelu oli nopeaa läpi illan, vaikka välillä oli hieman enemmän ihmisiä .Suosittelen lämpimästi!
Sergio's did an absolutely brilliant job with our group's Christmas booking. For my partner and I it was very much not an ideal venue just because of the menu: egg allergy, lactose intolerance and pregnancy (meaning nothing cured or unpasteurised), but we couldn't help where others had already chosen to go! Sergio's were incredibly helpful via email letting my partner and myself know what we could eat, and they checked in on us throughout and even made us an off menu dessert (gorgeous hazelnut pannacotta). They never made us feel like a burden and were consistently courteous and efficient in checking allergens for additional items such as the complimentary bread. Five stars.
Mukavatunnelmainen Italialainen ravinteli joen rannalla. Otin pizza piccanten (ohuesti tulinen) ja tarjoilijan suositteleman punkun kylkeen. Mielestäni erittäin hyvä pizza ja punkussakin oli hyvin luonnetta.

Tarjolla kokonaisuus Islannin tyyliin. Sopi hyvin TKT:n Huldurin jälkeen. Ikävä kyllä teatterielämyksen pilasi surkea äänentoisto (puhe ilman mikrofonia) ensimmäisessä näytöksessä.
I really enjoyed the food here. I had the veal and a slice of pizza, both were excellent. If you’re visiting Turku and craving authentic Italian pizza, this spot is a fantastic choice.
Absolutely delicious pizza, freshly baked over fire! The flavors were fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed every bite!

Our history
Since 2003
Restaurant Sergio’s roots originate in a small Italian spaghetti restaurant on Linnankatu, owned by Sergio Maniscalco in the 1990’s. The restaurant charmed the locals and many Finnish who loved Italy . Later on the restaurant was what brought friends Sergio, Franco and Domenico together, who were all originally from Sicily.
After some years went by the three friends decided to open a place together that serves modern Italian cuisine. This is how the currant restaurant Sergio’s on Läntinen Rantakatu was born. The restaurant is located in a listeed beautiful wooden house, completed in 1787.
Turku’s own Italy has served its most loyal customers since 2003. We welcome you to join and experience that authentic Italian feeling - and falling in love in the process.
